For the love of furniture

I am a person who loves all kinds of furnitures. If there is one thing I simply cannot resist is that of buying new and new furniture. The furniture need not be new, actually. It can even be a very rustic furniture. It does not matter. As long as I don’t have it, I will still end up buying it. That is the weakness.

I believe that the house becomes proper only when proper furniture is there in the house. Unless you have good set of furniture adorning the house, the house is not yet transformed. But, the moment you put the right set of furniture into the house, something magical happens. the house becomes a place to live in. The house becomes a home. It becomes the abode of the humans.

The house should have enough spaces to think, reflect, play and relax. All kinds of spaces are to be fitted with appropriate furniture. Whether it is kitchen with all its modern fittings to enable a good meal to be cooked, whether it is the reading room fitted with simple things so that the books gain silence and becomes enticing for others to enter the place, all the places in the house deserve their own setting and furniture to come alive.

The Netherlands has issued a European arrest warrant for a Dutch-born Nazi war criminal, Klaas-Carel Faber, now living in Germany.

Faber, 88, was sentenced to death in 1947 for the deaths of Jews at the Westerbork transit camp but his term was commuted to life.

He escaped in 1952, was given German citizenship and now lives in Bavaria.

Local media say it is the first time the Netherlands has issued a European arrest warrant for a war criminal.

In a statement, the Netherlands public prosecutor’s office described the warrant as a preliminary step before a formal extradition request is made to Germany.

“We are hopeful and we think that it is important, so that he can at last go to jail. We don’t know if we’ll be successful,” spokeswoman Tineke Zwart told the BBC News website.

Use these coupons!

Coupons are to marketers what the arrows are to warriors of yesteryears. They provide the ammunition and the ability to attract consumers for the marketing people. Without the coupons, the marketers feel pretty helpless.

But, there are a number of different coupons which are available. Whether it is the homeaway coupon or the other kind of coupons, the world seems to be full of them.

The coupons exist for a particular reason. That reason is something that the marketer knows by heart. The reason is simple. Today, more than any time before in the history, the consumer needs something more than the product or service itself to try it out. There are so many products and services vying for the attention of the consumer. Why should I pick up one service over the other? Why should I buy one product over the other? That is where the coupons provide a convenient edge for one marketer over the other where otherwise parity would have prevailed. It entices the customer and gives her a reason to try out product A over product B.

The coupon thus, becomes the tool which induces trial. Post that it is completely upto product and the service to prove itself and pull the consumer back.

Three teenage boys have been found alive after being lost in their boat in the Pacific Ocean for 50 days.

The boys, from the Tokelau Islands, a New Zealand-administered territory in the South Pacific, had been given up for dead after an unsuccessful search.

A tuna fishing boat picked them up near Fiji and is taking them to hospital for treatment for severe sunburn.

The boys survived on coconuts, water they trapped on a tarpaulin and a seabird they managed to catch.
‘Strong mental spirit’

The boys – Samu Perez and Filo Filo, both 15, and Edward Nasau, 14 – had gone missing from Atafu atoll in a small aluminium boat after an annual sporting event on 5 October.

They were presumed to have died after unsuccessful searches by the New Zealand air force.

There are times when you can get away with mediocre talent. At times you need a decent if not the best mechanic. At times you need a decent speaker if not an electrifying one. At times you need a decent teacher. However, there comes a time when you cannot afford to have even the good ones. You simply need the best out there. Such is a time when you are caught by the police and you need some real solid defense. This is what you get when you engage Los Angeles Criminal Lawyer to defend you.

Whatever be the circumstances. Whatever be the problems and the prosecution case. If you have the best of the defense lawyers at your side, you can really breath easy. They know the system. They know how these things work. They have seen it all. They have been through it all. They know the loopholes in the system and they know how to beat the system. When you tell them all the facts without hiding and why you find yourself in such a bad shape, they invariably devise a strategy which bails you out and ensures that you are defended well.

Once you defend yourself very well, there is every chance that you can escape the law.

It is important to be a good host in a party that you are hosting. Similarly, it is important to be hosted well when you are attending a party. What is true of a party is even more true of a business especially if it is the business of websites. If you are having a website and you are wanting to host it, you better host it in a site which offers unlimited web hosting. You need to find the right site for you to host so that your customers can log into you 24 by 7 and not be disconnected at random times.

This means that you need to have done your research well. You should have checked out all kinds of hosts and ensured that you know their terms and conditions and the cost that you need to shell out. This means that you have checked out the consumer response about such sites and are ready to launch into one of these hosts which have the best of the consumer feedback that you have checked out.

Whatever it be, before hosting it, you need to check it out thoroughly. This will ensure that later on, you can continue to concentrate on your business rather than worrying about the host.
